Gods Of Chess Privacy Policy

 

1.    Introduction: This privacy policy applies to the Gods of Chess app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Webata Technologies Inc. (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

2.    Data We Collect: The Application collects information when you download and use the Application. Information collected may include the following:

·         Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)

·         The time and date of your visit, as well as the total time you spend on the Application

·         The pages of the Application that you visit, and the amount of time spent on each page of the Application

·         The operating system you use on your mobile device

3.    Data We Do Not Collect: The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

4.    How We Use Information Collected: By providing your information in the use of the Application, you are consenting to allow the Service Provider to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions. For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that the Service Provider requests will be retained by the Service Provider and will only be used as described in this privacy policy.

5.    Use of Third-Party Services: To improve the Application, the Service Provider may rely on the aid of third-party external services. In this event, only aggregated, anonymized data will be transmitted to third-party external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service to the user of the Application.

The third-party services used by the Service Provider have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policies of these third-party service providers:

         Disclosure of Collected Information: The Service Provider, in certain    circumstances, may disclose the automatically collected information provided by the User. Such examples include:

·         As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process

·         If a good faith belief exists that disclosure is necessary to protect the Service Provider’s rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request

·         To trusted third-party service providers who work on our behalf, with the agreement that these providers do not have an independent use of the information disclosed and whom have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in the Service Provider’s Privacy Policy before receiving any of the User’s collected information. 

6.      Right to Opt-Out: You have the right to stop the collection of your information by the Application. You may exercise this right at any time by uninstalling the Application from your device. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

7.      Data Retention Policy and Right to Delete: The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. You have the right to request the deletion of your data. If you wish for your User Provided Data to be deleted, you may make such a request by contacting the Service Provider at luke@webata.tech. Requests for data deletion will be processed in a reasonable amount of time.

8.      Not Marketed to Children: The Application is not designed for nor intended to be used by children under the age of 13. Accordingly, the Service Provider does not target, market or address the Application to children under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data or collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child under the age of 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (luke@webata.tech) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.

9.      Security: The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider ensures the implementation of physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards necessary to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains for the Application.

10.   Changes: This Privacy Policy may be updated for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy and effective date of change. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

11.   Your Consent: By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
